INGREDIENTS:

3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
1 cup chopped kumquats (pureed)
4 tbsp cornstarch
3 tbsp lemon Jello gelatin

DIRECTIONS:

1.  Mix sugar, cornstarch, Jello and water. 

2.  Cook over medium heat until thickened.

3.  Stir in chopped kumquats.

4.  Serve over torte or slices of pound cake and garnish with whipped cream.
