1 cup chopped kumquats (pureed)
1/2 cup raisins
1 tsp mustard seed
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped almonds or pecans
1 cup vinegar
Mixed spices to taste
1. Cook chopped kumquats until tender.
2. Drain and add raisins, brown sugar, mustard seed, nuts and spices.
3. Stir and cook for 15 minutes.
4. Add cup of vinegar and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
5. Place in jars and refrigerate.
Especially good when served with ham.
